Job Title: Data Analyst

Salary: Circa £50,000
What you'll be doing:
1. Be responsible for promoting Data Quality through a variance of means; processes, management plans, coaching etc
2. Responsible for managing a Data Issues Remediation process whilst supporting the business with effective support for data quality issues or concerns
3. Be responsible for monitoring Data Quality at a business level working collaboratively with respective teams in Data & Analytics and IT functions
4. Be able to make proactive improvements to de-risk poor data quality having an impact on the business
5. Oversee the management of Data Quality team personnel
Your skills and experiences:
6. You will need to have gained experienced/ a healthy background in Data Quality (DAMA, TOGAF etc.)
7. Have experience with Data Quality dimensions, improvements, remediation
8. You will need to have a good understanding of data governance and data quality requirements
9. Be able to demonstrate success in supporting improvement programmes, ideally related to data
10. Have a good ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical
Desirable
11. Have a reasonable understanding of the TOGAF Framework
12. Hold knowledge of the DAMA Framework

The Data Management Team:
You will be helping us to lead in the deployment of BAE's data strategy. Together as a team, we work to ensure that data is robust and trusted throughout the data value chain and overall, we are responsible for data governance, data architecture and data quality. By joining us in the role, you will play a key part in the delivery of submarines and leading innovative projects that are the first of their kind in the industry, particularly within the defence sector. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
