Deputy Manager required for Ofsted registered children's home. Excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager to take a lead role within a fantastic, supportive and dynamic company.

Deputy Manager Role:
You will work under the guidance of the Home Manager to support and supervise a team of Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers to provide quality care to children who are looked after. You will be able to lead, motivate and enhance the skills of your team, and be able to model professionalism and leadership skills. You will be confident and able to step in to the manager's shoes in their absence.
The role is part admin and part shift based.

Your Role as Deputy Manager:
You will be an essential part of a caring team that creates a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people, working closely with a Registered Manager. In this role, you will:
1. Provide high-quality care services and lead strategic planning for the home's development.
2. Collaborate with other professionals to deliver therapeutic care tailored to each child's needs, ensuring the best outcomes.
3. Serve as a positive role model, helping children build trusting relationships that promote recovery, growth, and lasting change.
4. Oversee the supervision and mentoring of staff, organise work patterns, facilitate care-focused training, and access services that support childcare practices.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience in a residential children's home environment
2. NVQ Level 3 in caring for children and young people or children's residential workforce
3. Familiarity with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
4. A proactive, enthusiastic, and driven attitude
5. Strong people management skills with a hands-on approach
6. Experience managing budgets and rotas
7. Flexibility to work shifts and some sleep-ins
