My client who are a multi-million£ turnover business operating within the Infrastructure / Construction industries are currently recruiting for a Commercial Director on a fulltime permanent basis in London (hybrid working).\n\nThe Commercial Director will be responsible to lead the Commercial function, driving strategic revenue initiatives and ensuring effective delivery of the group business plan.\n\nEffectively action plans aligned with company goals to achieve growth in revenue, profitability, customer numbers, and industry segmentation. Whilst maintaining great standing in the industry and promoting a culture of operational excellence and continuous development.\n\nRole - Commercial Director - Infrastructure / Construction \nLocation - London (hybrid working) \nType - Permanent \nSalary - £130,000-£160,000 + bonus + benefits\n\nKey responsibilities of the Commercial Director / Commercial Director - Infrastructure & Construction role and not be limited to:\n\nStrategic Leadership\n\nLead the Commercial function to achieve revenue and business growth.\nDevelop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals.\nStay informed on industry trends, compliance, and market disruptions in recruitment and construction.Operational Excellence\n\nOptimise commercial processes with a strong focus on client relations.\nOversee CRM systems and drive digital transformation using AI.\nIdentify opportunities for service innovation and market expansion.\nStrengthen negotiation skills to secure high-value contracts.Commercial Planning\n\nManage financial performance, profitability, and market trends.\nOversee bid and tender processes, ensuring successful outcomes.\nHandle client agreements dynamically to support business operations.\nIdentify, mitigate, and manage risks affecting business success.Business Development & Key Accounts\n\nDrive client acquisition and new market opportunities.\nStrengthen client relationships to improve retention and lifetime value.\nLeverage operational functions to support business development.\nLead negotiations for major contracts and monitor M&A opportunities.Marketing\n\nManage outsourced marketing to ensure return on investment.\nEnhance brand presence and thought leadership in recruitment.\nDrive lead generation and employer branding.Revenue Management\n\nOversee pricing strategies to maximise gross margins.\nUse analytics to develop dynamic business strategies.\nUtilise government grants and funding to support revenue streams.Change Management\n\nLead organisational change initiatives in collaboration with senior leaders.\nCommunicate transformation plans effectively to stakeholders.\nAlign teams with evolving business objectives.Team Management\n\nDevelop a high-performing, skilled commercial team.\nEnsure continuous industry knowledge and skills development.\nFoster a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and high morale.Key skills and experience required Commercial Director / Commercial Director - Infrastructure & Construction role and not limited to: \n\nStrategic Leadership, proven track record in driving business growth, revenue, and market expansion.\nDeep understanding of compliance, legal frameworks\nExperience securing high-value contracts, managing key accounts, and improving client retention.\nStrong P&L management, bid/tender expertise, and risk mitigation skills.\nExperience in leading high-performing teams, fostering accountability, and managing organisational change.To apply for this Commercial Director candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
