Our client is seeking a skilled and versatile FM Maintenance Tradesperson to join their dynamic team. This role is focused on providing efficient and high-quality reactive maintenance services across a variety of client sites nationwide. The successful candidate will be based in the Midlands and will be responsible for responding to and resolving maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fitting, changing, and repairing water heaters.
2. Adjusting and repairing doors, including hinges, locks, and closers.
3. Changing and repairing light fittings, including bulbs and fixtures.
4. Performing general carpentry tasks, including minor repairs, installations, and adjustments.
5. Diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance issues.
6. Maintaining accurate records of work completed.
7. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
8. Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a similar maintenance tradesperson role.
2. Strong practical skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and general maintenance. Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) are desirable.
3. Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
5. Full UK driving license.
6. Flexibility to travel nationwide with very occasional overnight stays.
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
