Strategic finance director

HEARTS Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional Strategic Finance Director to lead our financial strategy, ensuring the highest standards of financial management and control. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.

The role of the Strategic Finance Director is crucial in supporting HEARTS to deliver excellent educational opportunities and learning experiences for our pupils. Key responsibilities include:

* Providing strategic financial leadership and direction
* Developing and implementing financial strategies to achieve business objectives
* Maintaining effective financial controls and risk management processes
* Overseeing the preparation and monitoring of budgets and annual accounts

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior finance professional to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of HEARTS Academy Trust. We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:

* Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
* Proven track record of leading financial teams and driving business growth
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
* Knowledge of financial systems, including Xero
