Our well-established client is seeking an experienced full-time administrator/legal secretary for their Chester office.
The job role involves:
1. Opening case files on the case management system and data inputting - we are paper-free, so the candidate must be experienced with computerized systems.
2. Audio typing - excellent grammar and spelling are essential.
3. Meeting and greeting clients and providing excellent client care.
4. Arranging appointments with clients in accordance with solicitors' diaries and liaising with clients.
5. Carrying out general administration tasks e.g. phoning clients to fix appointments, liaising with clients regarding the provision of information. Excellent telephone manner required.
6. Collating and indexing documents and saving them in correct folders on the case management system.
7. Liaising with accounts in relation to invoices and disbursements.
8. Keeping the office tidy and welcoming.
9. Making refreshments for clients and staff.
10. Ordering and unpacking supplies.
11. Ensuring that stationery is well stocked.
12. There may be the need to work in other offices when necessary, but the base is in Chester.
13. There may be the need to attend court with counsel to take notes on occasion.
14. Generally assisting legally qualified staff in the course of their work.
The role is ideal for someone who is careful and considerate with people.
