About the role
Would be interested in a full time Key Stage 1 (KS1) teaching position for September in Scarborough? If Scarborough is achievable for you geographically and you have experience teaching across Key Stage 1, then this could be for you for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Vision for Education are seeking a KS1 Teacher on behalf of a large high achieving Primary School in Scarborough for the next academic year.
The Role
This role will involve teaching an array of classes/year groups across Key Stage 1, meaning the ideal candidate must have recent or significant experience covering this Key Stage. The school have specified that the desired candidate will be able to plan work so that it is in line with individual needs/capabilities and ensure that those lessons are engaging enough so that students remain on task throughout. With a fantastic support team on hand and brilliant modern facilities and resources, this role is perfect not only for experienced primary school teachers but also ECT’s that are beginning their teaching journey. Part time may be an option, but the school have specified that it is preferable for the successful candidate to have full time availability.
Requirements
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Have recent experience teaching Key Stage 1 classes
3. Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
4. Be available at least 3-5 days per week
5. Be able to deliver engaging lessons that can keep children engaged and on task
