ROLE OF THE JOB
We are looking to recruit a Licensing Assistant to work 18.5 hours per week within the Licensing Service.
The role is to work within Licensing's Processing Section dealing with the administration and processing of a wide range of licences. The Licensing Team administers and enforces a wide range of licensing legislation including taxi, alcohol, gambling and charitable collection licensing.
This is a fast paced environment with large amount of contact with the general public, other council services and external agencies.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
The successful candidate should have a good standard of general education demonstrating numeracy and literacy. They should demonstrate an awareness and commitment to proactive customer care with experience of working with the public and meeting deadlines.
