Housing Support Officer
Niche CBS Ltd is a charitable business that operates supported housing units for adults in Eastbourne. We pride ourselves on giving our residents and staff the best possible surroundings in which to enjoy life and to thrive. We are a collaborative and supportive team.
We are looking for additional people to join our current team of 6 Housing Support Officers based in Eastbourne to help us fulfill our person-centred support of vulnerable adults, and guide them towards more independent living whenever possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide the highest quality of support to residents.
* Work independently as well as part of a team.
* Carry the On-call duty phone for evenings and weekends every 6 weeks.
* Write accurate and concise reports of interactions with residents.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 2 years’ experience working in Housing Support or a similar environment.
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
* Ability to work on a rotational shift pattern between 8.00am and 6.00pm.
* Resilience and calmness in challenging situations.
* Good professional boundary experience and skill.
* Knowledge of INFORM is helpful.
