Job Description
On behalf of our client, an innovative leader and manufacturer of printing inks, we are seeking a Technical Sales Manager (all genders) for the Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Growth: Manage and develop existing business while identifying new opportunities to increase sales within the Midlands region.
* Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and long-term collaboration.
* Technical Support: Offer technical solutions and advice tailored to customer needs, with support from the laboratory when required.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Director and Laboratory teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and client requirements.
* Market Monitoring: Keep a close watch on market developments, updating the Sales Director on any competitive trends or innovations.
* Reporting: Provide regular sales pipeline reports and updates
Qualifications
* Proven track record in technical sales or account management within the area of printing inks or printing consumables
* Ideally knowhow in narrow web flexo printing (UV, water-based)
* Experience in providing technical support to customers
* Strong commercial mindset with a passion for driving sales growth and achieving targets
* Able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing client needs
* Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, with a collaborative approach to solving client challenges
* A proactive attitude toward generating new business opportunities and maintaining customer satisfaction
* Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems
* Willingness to travel regularly within the Midlands region to meet with clients
