Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for a Depot Manager for our client in the Bristol area. Our client is a market leader in the power generation and equipment hire industry with multiple sites across the UK.
The Role: You will be responsible for leading and managing the South West Depot. You will ensure seamless operation of the depot hire process, from customer enquiry to delivery or collection. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
* Supervise and support the hire desk rental function, the generator and electrical PDI teams
* Set clear performance targets and ensure team members are aligned with these goals
* Conduct regular team meetings and reviews
* Oversee the hire process including quotations, invoice queries, and inspections
* Ensure customer service is kept to an exceptional standard including being the point of contact for customer enquiries and issues
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and new business opportunities
* Oversee the budgets for the depot
About you:
* Proven experience in a management role within the equipment hire or power generation industry
* Experience leading diverse teams, including technical, administrative, customer and sales
* Excellent organisational skills
* Experience using rental management software packages
* Strong understanding of compliance, safety and regulatory standards within the plant or generator hire industry
