A public sector specialist maintenance provider is hiring a part-time Estates Coordinator in East London.

Our client is a government-owned organisation that provides specialist maintenance and facilities management services to healthcare sites across the UK. They are hiring an Estates Coordinator to support maintenance and facilities delivery to a number of sites in East London. This is a part-time role working Wednesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Your new role
Supporting the Senior Estates Manager, the purpose of this role is to ensure that local site services meet the needs of colleagues, customers, and visitors within their premises in accordance with policies and procedures, legislation, and statutory requirements. The Estates Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of in-house/outsourced services in a facilities service provision across a portfolio of properties. Key duties will include:
* Planning and coordination of maintenance/facilities activities.
* Ensuring work is delivered within agreed SLAs.
* Supporting the reporting and monitoring of progress for all maintenance, repairs, health, safety & compliance issues.
* Managing various contracted services in the assigned portfolio, ensuring contractors work in accordance with SLAs, policies & procedures.
* Coordinating a program of regular inspections and checks with service teams and contractors (including audits, compliance activities, etc.).
* Supporting the management of security issues across the sites (reporting, incident investigation, audits, etc.).
* Managing tenant liaison, chairing meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
* Maintaining asset registers for the properties.
* Acting as occupier liaison contact for any new works carried out in the premises.
* Responsible for the day-to-day purchase to pay process for your portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will require relevant experience operating in a facilities/estates role where you coordinate maintenance and other facilities services for a multi-site portfolio of commercial properties. You will also require:
* Knowledge of FM building compliance and healthcare cleanliness standards.
* Knowledge of FM services and CAFM systems.
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
* Experience of Health and Safety Management and associated safe systems of work.
* Experience of working with budgets.
* Customer, client, and key stakeholder communication experience.
* Experience of supplier management and dealing with challenging situations.
* Management and coordination of onsite contractors and suppliers (Pre, during & post working activities).
* Experience of KPI and SLA tracking and reporting.
* Budget management experience is desirable.
