Part-Time Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger/Subcontractor Clerk Surbiton (Office Based) We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Surbiton on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our subcontractor and purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy in processing invoices, timesheets, and maintaining comprehensive financial records. This role will cover 21 hours per week either 3 full days or shorter days over a longer duration. Responsibilities: Efficiently process subcontractor timesheets and invoices. Code and post invoices to the accounting system, Evolution. Supplier statement reconciliation. Maintain and update the purchase ledger with precision. Collect timesheets weekly and collate for payroll purposes Perform data entry tasks with a strong focus on accuracy. Utilise Excel to manage and analyse financial data. Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role. Experience of working in the construction industry is highly desirable (including subcontractors) Proficient in Excel and other accounting software, Evolution is preferred but not essential Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. This position would suit an individual who is seeking a part time only opportunity.
