ROLE SUMMARY:
This is an outstanding opportunity to join Inspired Education as a Regional Business Partnership Manager for Academy A21 within Inspired Online schools. This newly created position enhances our business strategy and delivery of DfE accredited Online Alternative Provision.
Reporting to the Senior Business Partnership Manager Midlands, the role will be responsible for implementing and delivering the B2B business development strategy for Alternative Provision (AP) in the UK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Developing and implementing the account management roadmap for your strategic clients.
2. Developing information, ideas, and research to drive the sales and tactical marketing initiatives.
3. Accurately forecasting sales and growth based on business opportunities.
4. Developing effective working relationships at all levels with Local Authorities, Multi Academy Trusts, Schools and Local AP Centres/PRUs.
5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the AP sector, leveraging industry insights and market trends.
6. Identifying and delivering business opportunities within existing customer base; LA’s, MATs, Schools and Local AP Centres/PRUs.
7. Supporting and driving the LA tender submission process including delivery against procurement frameworks.
8. Presenting regular performance data for the B2B team and line manager.
9. Adhering to company policies and procedures.
10. Ensuring delivery of sales target in line with Company objectives and financial plans.
11. Supporting and contributing to marketing planning and fulfilment of local, regional and national campaigns.
12. Attending and presenting at conferences and exhibitions.
13. Maintaining and updating CRM (Dynamics) with all lead and contract conversions in accordance with the company’s defined new business and account management processes.
14. Supporting ongoing quality assurance processes for each client; Stay abreast of regulatory changes and developments in the education sector to inform strategic decision-making and compliance with DfE standards.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
The Regional Business Partnership Manager will be a graduate, ideally with proven business development experience in the public sector. Experience of the education marketplace is not essential but desirable. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop strategic accounts and identify and manage new business opportunities.
Specifically, you will have:
* Business development experience in a growth environment with a proven track record of key account management.
* Strong commercial awareness and results orientation.
* Demonstrable success in identifying, nurturing and converting business leads and then providing outstanding customer service.
* Proven experience of developing successful relationships within local authorities.
* Developed listening skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into tangible service options.
* Strong analytical skills, with a good attention to detail, enabling them to make a valuable contribution to decisions relating to the development of Inspired Online Schools’ offering in the marketplace.
* Highly aware of the tech space and how existing and emerging technologies can be incorporated into education.
* A flexible, highly energetic approach and the ability to thrive in a business with a fast changing, collaborative, delivery culture.
* Confidence to communicate to key internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to form good relationships both internally and externally with respective customers and partners.
* The ability to work independently and remotely and collaboratively with other team members and Inspired Education colleagues where appropriate.
