Job summary The purpose of this post is to be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of stock purchasing and stock rotation for Emergency Medicine and to order and maintain the equipment used in the Emergency Department. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for delivering an exceptional Emergency Medicine Stores function and work closely with senior management within the department to deliver change and best practice. To manage workload within the stores, maintain performance levels and agreed delivery schedules at all time, and ensuring customer satisfaction levels are retained. Regular inspection of equipment to identify faults or deficits and, working closely with the Medical Electronic Team and suppliers, report, coordinator and progress the repair of equipment as required. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
