About the role
Our specialist stakeholder team works with clients to help deliver infrastructure projects to time and budget. We engage with a wide range of project stakeholders so that we can maximise benefits of infrastructure development. We work across different infrastructure sectors, applying our skills to transport, water and energy sector projects.
Due to increased project requirements, we are looking for Senior Consultants to join our team in the following locations: Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Brighton, Cardiff, Cambridge, and Reading.
We are looking for people who are interested in understanding how infrastructure interacts with local communities and society. Successful candidates will be involved in managing and supporting the stakeholder engagement and consultation needs of infrastructure projects. You will also be involved in winning new work to grow the business. There will also be line management opportunities for experienced candidates.
The existing client roster includes government departments, local authorities, road and rail organisations, aviation and port organisations, environmental organisations, water companies and energy companies.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Extensive stakeholder engagement and consultation experience in the infrastructure sector
* Degree qualified (2:1 or above) in social science, humanities or a related discipline, or in transport planning, town planning, regeneration or a related discipline
* Report writing and delivering presentations
* Engagement with stakeholder and/or community groups
* Designing and undertaking qualitative and quantitative research / data analysis
* Understanding of equality, diversity and accessibility
* Project knowledge and experience of UK infrastructure planning regimes
Desirable skills and experience
* Masters qualified in a relevant discipline
* Writing and winning bids for new work
