Data Test Analyst

The Role
Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a hands-on Data Tester to join our London-based team, working on an exciting project with a prestigious client in the insurance sector. The Test Analyst will have good working knowledge of PowerBI, SQL Data Migrations / Analytics / ETL / Data Warehousing.
Key Skills / Responsibilities:
1. Solid experience of testing in data-driven environments utilizing advanced SQL skills – data manipulation.
2. Strong testing experience with PowerBI.
3. Good knowledge in ETL testing and validating multiple Source databases to target data warehouse tables.
4. Experience/Exposure and technical understanding of Data Warehousing terminology.
5. Solid working knowledge of Agile & Waterfall methodologies and associated test practices.
6. Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Experienced self-starter who is happy to work independently.
9. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
10. Functional test experience across system, system integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
11. Experience using the Eclipse platform desirable (specialist insurance platform).
12. Experience in the Insurance domain and use of terminology is highly useful.
13. Previous experience working for a consultancy or managed service provider would be beneficial.
