Job Summary
Chippenham Community Team have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead (Nurse) to join our team. The team is based in Chippenham Community Hospital and provides patient care between 07.00 and 22.00 hours.
This post is for 30 hours over 4 days and we are looking for an experienced nurse with wide experience in supporting patients and teams. This may be considered as a developmental opportunity.
Our Clinical Lead role is a varied and valuable role and is essential to provide clinical nurse leadership within the team.

Main Duties of the Job
1. Leading our team by offering skills including co-ordination, assessment, liaison, prescribing and problem solving to support the smooth running of the team on a day-to-day basis.
2. Managing complex patients and situations and to provide clinical guidance to the nursing team.
3. Supporting staff development, education and well-being.
4. Responsibility for MDT working, managing incidents, HR issues and processes including audit.

Applicants will need experience in complex patient care, community working and evidence of professional development including a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification and other relevant skills such as physical assessment and clinical reasoning.
We are looking for a nurse who has excellent communication skills and is resilient and motivated to work flexibly in our busy, friendly team.
As this role requires travel, a driving license and access to a car is required for this role.
You will also need to be confident with a variety of IT systems including Microsoft Office packages.
