The Division
The Integrated Components and Solutions team in the UK offers exciting engineering opportunities, working on the integration of electronic control systems within multiple Caterpillar products.
Job Role and Responsibilities
You will be part of a team responsible for developing Electro Mechanical Control Systems. Responsibilities may include:
* Collecting customer requirements and developing technical specifications for electronic features.
* Developing electrical system architectures and solutions to meet technical requirements.
* Defining control algorithms and developing software using model-based development techniques.
* Verification planning and testing of electronic features.
* Troubleshooting and resolving electronics/control system issues.
* Investigating control system performance issues and implementing solutions.
* Contribution to FMEA, functional safety, and product compliance reviews.
Basic Qualifications
Strong technical background in mechanical, electronic, electrical, control systems, or automotive engineering.
Top candidates may also have experience with:
Off-highway machine/engine/EV control system development or comparable automotive, marine, or military vehicle control systems.
Additional Information:
* Some global travel associated with certain roles.
