What You'll Do: In this key role, you will be at the forefront of supporting the finance function, focusing on: Daily P&L Reporting: Take charge of derivatives and securities business daily P&L reporting and balance sheet substantiation. Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, various front office teams, finance, and risk management to ensure seamless operations. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of 3 product controllers, ensuring performance management and talent development. Valuation & Reporting: Conduct daily valuations of the derivatives/securities portfolio and provide accurate reporting of Greeks and P&L. Process Improvement: Lead Product Control Projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and streamlining processes.Key Responsibilities Include: Managing your time and workload effectively while overseeing your team's operations. Resolving portfolio discrepancies in collaboration with middle and back office groups. Conducting derivatives/securities pricing testing and validation (IPV). Analysing credit simulation results and determining expected exposures. Supporting treasury and front desk operations with valuation analyses.What We're Looking For: Proven experience in Financial Control or Product Control at a Group Manager level. Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in VBA and Excel to build various tools and valuation models. Solid accounting knowledge, including balance sheet substantiation, fee reconciliation, and cash reconciliation.
