This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in delivering excellence in project delivery, supporting both Project and Portfolio Managers. The successful candidate will be involved in key project documents, financials, forecasting, planning and scheduling, as well as driving projects through the company's Project Methodology.
What you'll do:
As a Project Support Officer, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Technology Projects, Portfolio and Project managers deliver excellence in Project Delivery. You will be instrumental in supporting Project managers by assisting with delivering key project documents, project financials, forecasting, planning and scheduling. Your role will also involve supporting Portfolio Managers, in reporting, escalating issues, identifying opportunities for improvement and helping ensure that projects are set up for success.
* Demonstrate visible safety leadership and participation in safety initiatives
* Provide timesheet reporting support services for the Portfolio Managers
* Assist in maintaining project safety KPI’s
* Support Project Managers in key areas such as editing Business Case and uploading in Planview
* Maintain Planview, focusing on Stage/Gate timings, Forecasting and Schedules
* Contribute to the development and rollout of Team Values
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Project Support Officer role will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from previous roles within project or portfolio planning/governance/coordination/compliance. You will have proven experience in developing or reviewing executive papers and approval documentation. Your proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook will be essential for this role. Additionally, you will hold relevant Business/Finance/Project Management qualifications or other qualifications/experience which demonstrate your ability to coordinate project related activities.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Minimum 12 months experience in Project or Portfolio Planning/Governance/Coordination/Compliance type role
* Experience in developing or reviewing executive papers and approval documentation
* Business/Finance/Project Management qualifications or other qualifications/experience which demonstrate the ability to coordinate project related activities
* WA Driver’s Licence Class ‘C’ or ‘C - A’
