We are recruiting for a Senior Analyst & ServiceNow Administrator to join the IT team at our Head Office in Lutterworth.
The role is a hybrid role, with responsibilities for Service Desk as well as ServiceNow Administration and Development.
The Senior Analyst will work closely with the Group Service Manager and IT Management and Technical Teams to ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, colleague experience is consistently good, and business requirements and process changes are reflected in the Service Management tool. There will also be scope to develop existing skills, to proactively suggest and document improvement ideas for review with the management team and businesses, and to produce and own a roadmap.

Responsibilities include:
* Logging and managing incidents, access management and requests from internal users via ITSM tool portal & urgent/high priority telephone calls.
* Provide first and some second line-level technical support to diagnose issues. Resolving promptly at the first point of contact where possible.
* Using remote tools where possible and appropriate to perform incident diagnostics and resolution.
* Be the technical point of contact with the vendor. (ServiceNow)
* Introduce and adopt industry standards and best practices where appropriate.
* Be a technical authority in the ServiceNow platform.
* Take a leadership role in the education of others and usage of ServiceNow.
* Develop and manage a roadmap which is aligned to the needs of IT and business. (including Self-Service portal)
* Provide production support for the ServiceNow application.
* Develop, test, and deploy minor enhancements requests from IT and the businesses.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* Service Desk experience, supported by evidence of positive colleague feedback and recognition.
* Certified ServiceNow System Administrator qualification.
* Sound understanding of processes and workflows.
* Experience in ServiceNow development or support.
* Some knowledge and experience of ServiceNow scripting and web technologies - such as JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, and HTML.
* A good level of knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control and deployment.
* Very good attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* To be able to prioritise effectively and work under pressure.
* To be able to work as a team player, but also to work independently at times.
