Engineering Manager role in East Yorkshire with a well-established Manufacturing business. Oversee maintenance and facilities management, drive performance improvements, and deliver capital projects.
Reporting to the Ops Director, you'll work with a dedicated team of operations professionals, managing a team of around 40 employees across the Maintenance function.
* Maintenance Planning: Develop a structured maintenance roadmap with strong integration of autonomous maintenance practices.
* Capital Project Management: Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of capital projects, including forecasting and spend reporting.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to UK legislation and EH&S policies, prioritizing team member health and safety.
* Performance Measurement: Implement KPIs to monitor and enhance maintenance system performance.
* Best Practices: Promote and embed best practices across all engineering disciplines.
* Team Leadership: Provide dynamic leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
To be considered, you must have:
* Qualifications: Degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline (or minimum NVQ Level 5).
* Professional Experience: Proven background in manufacturing and Maintenance environments.
* Leadership Skills: Strong experience in managing engineering teams, with the ability to inspire and build positive relationships.
* Organisational Skills: Highly organized, computer literate, and proficient in project management.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PUWER and LOLER regulations, with comprehensive technical expertise.
