You’ve come to the right place Join our growing team of Accommodation Advisors. What do our Accommodation Advisors do? Working in partnership with the Prison and Probation Service, you’ll work with a caseload of clients in the community and, provide advice and support relevant to their housing needs. You’ll carry out initial assessments to understand each person’s specific needs to agree a tailored action plan. This may include the provision of support to end or sustain a tenancy, find accommodation or basic budgeting advice and liaison with other agencies. You’ll provide support face to face with individuals and groups. Who are we looking for? You will need to be a great communicator, enjoy working in a busy people focused role, organised and solution focused. The right candidate can engage others and is non-judgmental. You will bring with you integrity, a proactive attitude and good ICT skills (MS Office including excel and custom databases). Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in the criminal justice sector and some knowledge of homelessness legislation however, we will welcome transferable skills and provide you with the relevant training and support required for the job.
