Fundraising Officer Alton, Hampshire (Hybrid) £13.85 ph- Temp with an immediate start. Our lovely client is looking for an Events Fundraising Officer to support the Challenge Events Manager. You will play a key role in leading the charity’s larger events, overseeing event logistics, marketing and planning. This role is full time Monday to Friday 9-5pm, with 3 days at home. You may be required to work some evenings and weekends, depending on events. Roles and responsibilities: · Lead the planning, management, and execution of various fundraising events from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and income goals. · Oversee event budgets, managing expenses and revenue targets. · Develop and implement marketing strategies for each event as needed. · Collaborate with other fundraising teams, proving specialised support and guidance. · Cultivate positive relationships with external suppliers, ensuring contract compliance. · Take responsibility for all compliance tasks, including documentation related to health and safety, insurance, and risk management, safeguarding the charity’s reputation. Requirements: · Experience working within a fundraising team at a charity. · Experience in project management. · Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. · Ability to work to deadlines. · Experience working on multiple projects and the same time.
