Bank Cardiographer | Spire Shawfair Park Hospital | Bank | Competitive rate of pay
Spire Shawfair Park Hospital are looking for a Cardiographer to provide support to Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiologists in the delivery of their Cardiology service, on a bank basis. The Cardiographer will perform basic cardiac investigations, assist with administration, stock control and patient care within the cardiac catheter lab when required and carry out general administration duties.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Deliver and evaluate care to meet individual’s health and well-being needs
2. Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
3. Develop own knowledge and skills and those of others
4. Promotes best practice in health and safety and security
5. Contribute to the Cardiology services
6. Contribute to quality improvement
7. Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights
8. Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment
9. Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI
The ideal candidate:
10. Previous experience of working in clinical environment
11. Experience of planning work and acting under own initiative
12. Patient/customer facing experience
13. Experience of working as part of a team
