Job Description:
As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design and fabrication processes for advanced monopile structures. You will focus on creating detailed production drawings and ensuring that designs meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and practicality. Key Responsibilities:
1. Modelling and Drafting:
Develop and manage 3D models in SolidWorks to support the design and fabrication of monopile structures. Produce detailed fabrication drawings that meet stringent technical specifications and quality requirements.
2. Documentation and Revision Control:
Ensure thorough documentation of all drawings, including precise specifications aligned with client requirements. Manage revisions and updates to designs based on feedback or technical adjustments.
3. Quality Assurance:
Conduct detailed quality checks to ensure accuracy in all drawings before release. Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure designs are practical and aligned with production capabilities.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with project engineers and team members to understand and implement project requirements. Provide support to the production team by resolving issues related to drawings and ensuring seamless communication.
Skills & Experience:
1. Proficiency in SolidWorks, with a strong track record of creating fabrication and production drawings.
2. High attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
3. Familiarity with industry standards and fabrication processes, particularly in renewable energy, is advantageous.
