The International eCommerce Trading team fuels global growth by managing and optimising online product sales across 72 international markets. They drive exciting product launches, strategic promotions, and collaborate with leading third-party platforms to maximise sales and brand visibility worldwide. Within this, the Third Parties team help connect NEXT with other large selling platforms such as Zalando and La Redoute to sell thousands of products. These platforms delivered strong growth for NEXT last year and to continue to support this growth we need ever improving data points and manipulation. The role As the International Third Parties Data Manager, you will oversee all data and operational elements of third party marketplaces, from product onboarding to reporting and spot the opportunities for efficiency and utilisation of data points to resolve problem areas and protect item launch. This role forms the foundations of how we trade on marketplaces, without you there will be no product to sell or items to deliver. You’ll be a problem solver & someone that thinks outside the box to get the job done in the quickest and most efficient way. • Have responsibility for the accuracy & full life cycle of all products on third party marketplaces including listing quality, set up, pricing & imagery. • Be the knowledge centre of all available product and sales related data available to Third Parties internally, working across departments to maximise data knowledge. • Understanding all available data points from partners, the importance of them and where they could be utilised. • Resolve key onboarding issues, generating technical solutions to widespread issues. • Lead collaborative problem solving with partners and integrators to resolve issues. • Utilise new technology to provide solutions to optimise product content, ensure imagery, titles and product descriptions to fully inform the customer during the buying process to drive sales and decrease returns rates eg use of AI. • Have the vision for a suite of new reporting and dashboards to monitor sales, item launch and reports that support the resolution of onboarding or partner requirement pain points. • Be aware of upcoming events and critical dates e.g. Markdown and lead the team to ensure all key events are prepared for and actioned on time. • Collaborate with the warehousing team and partners to forecast stock replenishment and ensure delivery is smooth. • Ensure third party KPIs are met at all times to minimise risk of downsorting or deactivation. • Work closely with the customer service team to guarantee all queries are answered within the timeframe allowed and any escalated queries are dealt with or passed to the appropriate team. • Manage and support a small team in Leicester & India. What we’re looking for • Proficient user of SQL or Python, Azure, Databricks & Power BI. • Experience in third party marketplaces such as Zalando, Amazon etc would be an advantage. • Problem solver & analytical thinker. • Displays a clear sense of vision, direction and belief. • Perseverance and a desire to succeed. • Can quickly and accurately identify any issues or risks and work on implementing a solution. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences. • The ability to motivate others and lead change, whilst working cross-functionally. • A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change. • Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude, who is able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
