We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate to manage and grow our supply chain to support our rapid manufacturing expansion. The capability and capacity of our manufacturing is continually increasing, and our supply chain must scale with it. The role offers a great opportunity for the successful candidate to make improvements to the existing supply chain, as well as the chance to establish a world-class supply chain for product lines across multiple industries.
A key part of our operations is driven through digital tools, and we want to create a digital supply chain by implementing tools that remove waste and transform how we interact with suppliers. It will blend data analytics, great communication skills and a strong desire for improvement to bring about a step-change in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish partnership relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms and drive cost-out initiatives
* Managing procurement, logistics and quality of components and sub-contract services
* Inventory management process ownership and continuous improvement
* Development and implementation of logistics strategies for cost-effective and efficient delivery of products globally
* Maintaining customer satisfaction through resolution of complaints and issues related to the supply chain
* Implementing digital systems across the supply chain
Success in the role will be reliant on data analysis and effective communication and project management skills. A requirement is to have high proficiency in Excel to have the ability to make data-informed decisions. Taking ownership of the supply chain will require organizational skills and the ability to influence stakeholders so confidence, drive and ambition will be necessary as well as the following:
* Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, Engineering degree or equivalent
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Skilled in data analysis and proficiency in software such as Excel, Python, database or other
* Innovative mindset with the ability to problem solve for resolution of supply chain issues
* Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Desire to travel (potentially internationally) for visiting suppliers to maintain relationships and quality
