We are looking for a Teacher to join our Dunkeld campus, specialising in Maths and Physics from BGE to Higher level. This post will provide the applicant with an exciting rewarding teaching experience that will allow the teacher to be creative and innovative. With small class sizes you will be able to make a meaningful difference to the young people you teach.
Quality teaching and learning takes time to develop, this is why we provided our teachers with more preparation time than any local authority. So you can deliver high quality student centred teaching and learning.
This post is permanent, 0.6FTE (21 hours per week). You will be able to regain work-life balance!
The successful candidate will:
1. Have a professional teaching qualification.
2. Be registered, or eligible to register with the General Teaching Council Scotland.
3. Ideally, have experience with children with Additional Learning Needs.
4. Have a strong understanding of mathematics principles and the ability to teach Physics.
5. A commitment to professional development in the field of neurodiversity,
6. Be highly motivated with demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm to improving outcomes for young people.
7. Be mature, trustworthy and reliable.
8. Have conflict/crisis resolution skills.
