Turning Tides is seeking a dynamic and experienced Housing Services Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality residential services to individuals facing housing insecurity. This role is ideal for a compassionate leader with a strong background in housing support who is committed to making a real impact in people’s lives.
As Housing Services Manager, you will oversee a diverse accommodation service, including both short- and long-term housing options, and varying support levels (from high-support to floating support). You’ll ensure that each resident receives a comprehensive, individualised support package, including a dedicated keyworker, group activities, and specialised care as part of our wraparound approach.
What You Bring to the Role
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* Experience contributing to strategic planning and driving service-specific goals in line with organisational objectives.
* Deep knowledge of the homeless sector, including factors contributing to homelessness, and an understanding of mental health, substance misuse, and dual diagnoses.
* Understanding of harm minimisation approaches and the ability to develop trauma-informed, psychologically informed environments (TIC/PIE).
* Familiarity with housing management legislation, policies, and best practices.
* Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, ensuring financial viability, and maximising personalised support for clients.
* Capable of delivering high-quality, client-centred services with an emphasis on co-production and community involvement.
* Strong collaboration skills to work with external partners and stakeholders, leveraging a Systems Leadership approach.
