The focus of the role will be providing tax advice to our high net worth clients and their businesses. The successful candidate should have an excellent knowledge of the law. It is expected that they will have strong experience of dealing with a broad range of tax issues relating to private clients at a law firm, accountancy practice or at HMRC. Introduction to the team: The Private Client team in London consists of 1 Partner, 1 Legal Director, 1 Senior Paralegal and 1 Legal Assistant. The team is part of a national team that also has a presence in Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle, and act for individuals, families and trusts on legal matters such as wealth management, wills, trusts and probate, along with providing tax advice. Key responsibilities: Advising owners of family businesses regarding Inheritance Tax and succession planning Asset structuring for capital tax planning and wealth preservation. Advising trustees and beneficiaries on their income and capital tax liabilities and duties. The ability to promote the team internally and Hill Dickinson externally. Providing other general assistance and tax advice where required. What are we looking for: Important criteria: Qualified Solicitor or Accountant, with proven, demonstrable experience in a law firm or accountancy practice.
