Finance Assistant

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a Derby based client within the finance department.
Duties:
* Purchase ledger-Processing of invoices and credits & expenses
* Processing, coding and collating company expense claims and credit card expenditure in accordance with company policy from coding, checking, processing through to payment.
* Creating and completing payment runs
* Responsible for raising purchase orders,
* Approval of the creation of new supplier accounts.
* Maintaining all the purchase ledger records
* General ledger-Treasury and banking, including posting the daily bank statements and reconciling bank statements.
Key Skills :
* Purchase Ledger experience essential
* Treasury and general ledger is desirable.
* Working to deadlines.
* Efficient- in a team and individually.
* Good attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Strong MS office (Excel, Outlook and Word.)
Salary £24k
