Quality Engineer

Responsible for:
Contributing to creation and maintenance of effective quality control processes
Contribute to continually improving the Quality Management System
Aide in championing processes and procedures to ensure ISO 9001 and AS9100 accreditations are maintained and achieved
Monitor and record scrap, reject, rework and concession quantities and costs to aide in improvement projects
Keep accurate documentation
Understand statistical techniques to ensure quality levels are maintained
Proactively aide in problem solving and improvement
Provide assistance with Internal Audits
Support and work within the culture of continuous improvement
Take part in 5S, 8D and any other relevant quality principles to aide in problem solving and quality improvements
Communicate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders effectively
Be an industrial metrology champion for new methods and techniques to collect robust, repeatable data
Provide CMM programming support and operation to ensure smooth throughput of work
Maintaining quality best practice
A hands-on approach with first off inspection
