Responsibility for leading the on-going development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Demonstrating safe, effective and person- centred leadership to patients and staff role modelling the Trust’s mission and values.
• Leading safe patient care through surgical, pathways
• Work in conjunction with colleagues in, medicine and ED to embed safe transfers to ward/unit areas, ‘getting it right first time’ to enable early supported discharges
• Embed effective management of clinical and non-clinical risk reporting to the Manager within the Directorate Clinical Governance Framework.
