Role: Associate Building Surveyor\n Location: Manchester\n Salary: £60,000 - £70,000\n\nWe are seeking a talented and driven Associate Building Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career within a forward-thinking and supportive environment.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs an Associate Building Surveyor, you will deliver high-quality professional services across a variety of projects. You will provide expert advice to clients on all aspects of building surveying, including contract administration, dilapidations, condition surveys, and project management.
Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.\n\nKey Responsibilities for the Associate Building Surveyor:\n\nConduct detailed building surveys and produce comprehensive reports.\nOversee and manage repair, maintenance, and refurbishment projects.\nProvide expert advice on dilapidations, building defects, and property issues.\nLead projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards are met.\nSupport and mentor junior surveyors and trainees, maximising their development opportunities.\nFoster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders. \n\nRequirements for the Associate Building Surveyor:\n\nMRICS qualification with a proven track record in building surveying.\nStrong technical knowledge of building construction, regulations, and industry best practices.\nExperience managing projects and leading teams.\nExcellent communication and client-facing skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team.\nStrong organisational and time-management abilities. \n\nWhy Join Our Client?\n\nCompetitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 plus benefits package.\nGenuine career progression opportunities within a supportive firm.\nExposure to a diverse range of exciting projects and clients.\nA positive and inclusive working environment.
