The Role
We are looking for a part-time receptionist who will welcome people to our service and deliver excellent customer care.
We require someone that is responsive to the needs of those who use our service and can show care and compassion as well as be able to remain calm when it gets busy/challenging. This is a vital part of our service as it is the first point of contact for our vulnerable client group and being able to show compassion and care will help engage people into treatment with a view to making life-long changes for the better.
Responsibilities:
* Be the first face of the service providing a warm, friendly and welcoming professional engagement.
* Support the service delivery by managing calls, processing incoming and outgoing mail, ordering of required items, record keeping, and coordinating service diaries.
The Service
Via Greenwich is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions, operating from a main treatment hub in Woolwich. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Greenwich residents, irrespective of circumstance.
The Via Greenwich Navigation team aims to improve service integration across LB Greenwich. The navigation team will engage and connect with partners across the borough to create sustainable pathways. They will ensure wrap-around support for complex people including those in the Criminal Justice system.
