The role
As the Regional Director of Sales for the Managed Estate, the role will oversee the sales operations for Kew Green's Managed Estate of hotels. Your primary focus will be to proactively increase market share and enhance overall hotel sales performance while ensuring the retention of existing revenue streams. You will work closely with on-property sales leaders to identify and develop key sales opportunities for all Kew Green Managed Hotels, driving collaborative efforts to achieve business growth.
This role will require national travel.
Key responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership & Team Development : Provide direction for business growth by mentoring sales teams and supporting General Managers to exceed sales goals.
* Partnership & Industry Engagement: Collaborate with local partners and actively engage in industry associations to enhance hotel visibility and establish market leadership.
* Sales Planning & Change Management: Develop and implement strategic sales plans and lead initiatives that align Sales and Marketing with business objectives.
* Market Analysis & Account Growth: Analyse market trends to identify growth opportunities and cultivate relationships with existing accounts while developing new business pipelines.
* Communication & Reporting: Serve as a key communication link between hotels and stakeholders, preparing insightful sales reports to inform strategic decisions.
* Onboarding & Training: Facilitate onboarding for new hotels and ensure comprehensive training for new sales leaders.
* Marketing Collaboration & Representation: Work with marketing to create engaging content and represent Kew Green Managed Hotels at industry events to build connections.

What you’ll bring to the team
* Experienced in collaborating with hotel owners and brand experience, demonstrating proactive sales management.
* Proven account management experience with a focus on growing market share and account penetration.
* Strong sales background, engaging senior decision-makers in large organisations, specifically within the hotel sector.
* Proven proactive sales management experience.
* Solution-driven with excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Effective coach and mentor, fostering individual growth within sales teams.
* You’ll enjoy working at pace, in an ever-changing environment where decisions are made fast.
* You’ll have great interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
