We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting exceptional children and a creative approach to meeting needs and enhancing curriculum delivery.
In this role you will work collaboratively, supporting the teacher as part of a class staff team, to deliver education sessions and create a welcoming environment where all children and their parents feel valued and supported.
We want pupils to be excited about coming to school and love learning. We want them to be motivated and challenged as they thrive in a school that understands their individuality and celebrates their unique qualities and strengths. Most of all, we are committed to providing every learner with the tools and strategies to become a successful autistic adult.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be able to think creatively and flexibly, using an understanding of each pupil’s individual needs. You should be prepared to learn about a variety of approaches to engage pupils and overcome barriers to learning. You will have a positive attitude and be willing to reflect and develop. You will have knowledge of Autism, and will have obtained a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this.
