As their Head of Housing Management, you will play a pivotal role in creating balanced and sustainable communities and leading high-quality tenancy management and neighbourhood-based services—ensuring their tenants receive the best possible experience.
Responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:
* Leading tenancy and neighbourhood services, driving service excellence, ensuring policies empower colleagues to make the right decisions for tenant and enhancing tenant experience, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and with long-term impact.
* Developing and implementing a strategy to future-proof our Retirement Living schemes and support older tenants.
* Building strong partnerships with local authorities, health providers, and third-sector organisations to improve tenant wellbeing and tenancy sustainment.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory Consumer Standards and building safety legislation, and improving services based on tenant insight and complaints.
* Leading and motivating a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
* Managing budgets and supplier contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
* Embedding safeguarding within operational practices and working to prevent anti-social behaviour, hate crime, and domestic abuse.
What're they looking for? To be considered for this role, your application will highlight:
* A housing professional with a Level 5 Housing Management Qualification (or a willingness to work towards it).
* Proven experience of managing housing services, tenancy or neighbourhood management across a range of housing tenures, tenant demographics (i.e. general needs, sheltered / older persons and leasehold/ managing agents).
* Experience of leading and motivating a large high-performing team, providing specific examples of tangible achievements and improvements to tenant experience.
* Strong financial and contract management experience, explaining your breadth of experience across communal maintenance contracts and service charge experience.
This role requires flexibility, with occasional evening and weekend work, and you will as part of a rota for out-of-hours incidents. The organisation's colleagues deliver services from the location that they are best delivered on any given day. This means that you should expect to work from one of the organisation's sites as a minimum 3 days week (on average).
