Reporting to the Group leader or designated Moulding representative, you will fulfil the department's objectives by providing efficient rigging and demoulding duties as set out by the department manager.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Basic rigging by making use of light or heavy equipment.
2. Identify faults and unsafe rigging practice and report it to the Group Leader.
3. Updating of rigging equipment maintenance register on a weekly basis.
4. Demoulding and moving of various GRP parts in a safe manner.
5. Following the necessary SOP regarding lifting and demoulding of parts.
6. Ensure safe working techniques are adhered to.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Qualification External Candidates: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10).
2. Qualification Internal team members: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10) and/or a R&C competency certificate as a Rigger/Demoulder.
3. Ideal: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12).
4. Experience: At least 2-3 years related work experience.
5. Must have a valid crane and forklift licence.
6. Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
7. Must be able to work at heights.
8. Must have the ability to work independently without supervision.
9. Able to work weekends and overtime.
10. Have a thorough understanding of the quality condition within the company.
11. Attention to detail and quality.
12. Good housekeeping skills.
