The school is seeking an individual who has prior experience working with students who exhibit Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. This full-time position will commence ASAP. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classes comprising up to 26 pupils, collaborating directly with class teachers and the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo). Responsibilities: - Provide valuable support to classes with up to 26 pupils. - Maintain open lines of communication with class teachers and the SENDCo. - Track and monitor the progress of individual pupils. - Offer support to pupils with SEN and SEMH challenges. - Conduct one-on-one sessions and assist small groups of students. - Deliver intervention sessions, particularly in English, Maths, and Science. - Demonstrate commitment to professional development by enrolling in CPD courses to enhance your skills and knowledge as a Teaching Assistant.
