Multi-skilled Plumber Are you an experienced plumber with multi skill experience in joinery and locksmithing who can work within a number of different teams? Are you someone who takes pride in delivering quality work and providing excellent customer services? We are currently looking for a multi-skilled plumber to join our Property Services team, providing a comprehensive technical service, who will be able to work well as part of our team to deliver the best possible service to our residents. The role is permanent, working 39 hours per week, in Wythenshawe, Manchester. The core activity will be plumbing, but in addition as required to provide a high quality and responsive maintenance, repairs and replacement service. As an organisation it is imperative to us that we deliver a customer focused service and maintain positive customer relationships. Therefore we are looking for someone with excellent customer service and communication skills. What will you be doing on a day to day basis? Carrying out planned and responsive repairs and installations as required in tenants' homes and on construction sites. Providing technical expertise within your relevant trade area; Providing multi-skilled expertise within additional trades offering a high quality repairs and replacement service; Working alongside other trades people, providing support and training as necessary where apprentices are used; Using hand and electric/hydraulic machine tools and undergoing training for this; Driving and being responsible for a company vehicle when required Completing all necessary associated work documentation and ensuring van stock and materials are safeguarded. Occasionally work on an out of hours rota if required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing, must have experience of undertaking multi-skilled housing maintenance work, including joinery and lock-smithing, with experience of working in a building or construction environment. A full driving licence, the ability to deliver a customer focused service and willingness to undertake additional training when required are also essential.
