Job Description:
Kier Group have a number of openings for MEP Project Managers or Building Services Managers to join a major project at HMP Channings Wood in Newton Abbot.
The MEP Project Manager will report into the MEP Lead and Project Director while taking ownership for MEP delivery across a certain section of the project.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent. Ask us about other flexible options.
What will you be responsible for?
* Managing project delivery and installations of MEP across a certain section of the project.
* Meeting company objectives post-contract.
* Input into pre-contract requirements focusing on customer care and business excellence.
* Report on project performance to the Project Director.
Further key responsibilities will include:
* Identify and manage project risks with effective mitigation measures.
* Oversee the MEP contractor and ensure they are delivering to a high standard.
* Ensure compliance with project quality management procedures by the supply chain.
* Implement and comply with Kier's SHE policy, procedures, legal requirements, and best practices.
What are we looking for?
* Previous Project Management experience within the Construction industry.
* The role would also suit a Building Services Manager or Engineer.
* A sound knowledge and technical understanding of MEP systems.
* Commercially and Contractually aware.
* The ability to lead a team and drive a project forward.
