An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join The Roundhill Academy as a Teacher of Music on a permanent basis for 3-5 days per week. The successful candidate will be joining a smaller than average secondary school at an exciting time.
We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated, innovative, ambitious and creative classroom practitioner who can demonstrate the ability and aptitude to teach to a very high standard up to and including GCSE level. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching Music at Key Stage 3 and 4.
Teaching experience will not be a determining factor - we welcome applications from newly qualified teachers (ECT’S) as well as more experienced candidates. We will develop every staff member that joins our team, providing one-to-one support, coaching and mentoring and access to extensive network training.

1. Hold Qualified teacher status
2. Be an experienced teacher
3. Be willing and able to teach Music
4. Possess the ability to teach high quality lessons and consistently provide opportunities that progresses students learning and achievements
5. Be committed to our whole school values of nurture, enrich and inspire
6. String instrumental and/or vocal skills
