We are looking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about leading a Performing Arts team to develop and expand what are already very successful curriculum areas. We are bringing drama and music together to form a larger team who are able to work together to share best practice around pedagogy and subject expertise as well as to lead on shows and performances. Experience and expertise in either drama or music is essential, and a teacher of drama is desirable.
This role will provide the candidate with an opportunity to lead a team of committed and experienced professionals and to contribute to our students’ wider development as confident and talented young people. All curriculum leaders in our school play a vital role in the delivery of new teaching strategies and are key members of wider subject networks across the Trust, delivering an aligned curriculum that drives scholarly success, lifelong skills and enriching experiences. Collaborative working and an opportunity to develop skills through sharing best practice is very much at the heart of how we operate.
