Your role with us
The ASD/LD division provides medium secure, low secure, and rehabilitation settings for men and women with Learning disabilities and/or Autism and complex mental health needs. You will gain experience across all our specialisms, develop a deeper understanding of complex mental health needs, and have access to further training such as a comprehensive ASYE programme.
You will work in partnership with our multi-disciplinary teams (including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Nursing, and other Allied Health Professions) to provide holistic individualised treatment plans and work directly with our patients on their recovery journey. You will lead carer engagement and ensure families are part of the team. You will become an expert in mental health legislation and practice, giving evidence at Tribunals and leading safeguarding efforts.
You will have a recognised Social Work Qualification and ideally experience in Mental Health and Mental Capacity Legislation, as well as Safeguarding Adults Legislation and practice, including undertaking safeguarding investigations. St Andrew’s Healthcare Social Workers must be registered with Social Work England, with opportunities for training to ensure registration.
