A leading media business is seeking an experienced Corporate Reporting Manager to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to lead statutory reporting, manage financial controls, and drive process improvements while overseeing a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Statutory Reporting: Lead the preparation of UK statutory accounts under FRS 102, ensuring accuracy and timely submission for multiple entities.
* Audit Management: Act as the primary liaison for external and internal auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes.
* Cash Flow Forecasting: Manage monthly and quarterly cash flow reporting, including forecasting models for both group and local entities.
* Financial Reporting: Oversee divisional P&L and balance sheet reporting, providing detailed variance analysis and commentary.
* Leadership: Manage and develop a small finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to internal controls and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.
* Accounts Payable Oversight: Oversee the AP function, ensuring efficient operations and alignment with business objectives.
Key Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
* Strong background in statutory reporting and audit, with expertise in UK GAAP (FRS 102).
* Proven leadership skills, including team management and stakeholder engagement.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
* Advanced Excel skills, with experience in Oracle being advantageous.
