What we are looking for:
1. Grow Invesco business by developing awareness of Invesco's global capabilities and ensuring these are appropriately and successfully delivered across all clients within your specified region. This includes, but is not limited to, ICVC funds, ETFs, IT's and MPS proposition.
2. Build and strengthen Invesco relationships by identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with key individuals within your target market. This will incorporate a comprehensive contact strategy and include regular and timely contact through multiple mediums (telephone, email, meetings, events).
3. Construct, evolve and execute a comprehensive business plan for your region which focuses on both sales growth and asset retention.
4. Combine working independently, collegiately and collaboratively, as part of a small entrepreneurial team, with your relevant Regional Sales Manager and other key internal stakeholders to ensure that together you build the Invesco business, develop key client relationships and exceed targets.
5. Maintaining accurate and timely records of client conversations/meetings on key systems (Salesforce & Financial Clarity).
What you can bring:
1. Exposure to and involvement in matters pertaining to client relationship management, account management and prospecting ideally in the Investment Management Industry.
2. Demonstrable understanding of how to build and successfully execute a channel specific business plan/strategy.
3. Previous exposure to investment products, strategies, the investment retail market place and the financial services sector.
4. Experience of selling products under UCITS and AIFMD regimes would be advantageous.
5. Fully proficient in using key systems (including Salesforce and FinancialClarity) for the purposes of business and client planning, client communication and Compliance.
6. Strong fund, market and industry knowledge as a result of keeping fully up to date with market views and industry related topics.
7. Adaptive and responsive to changes in client needs and the industry environment.
8. Strong communication and influencing skills.
9. Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to a broad range of people.
10. Ability to work with others and build strong relationships.
11. Highly motivated with the ability to demonstrate strong work ethic.
12. Self-motivated, organised and methodical with good time management skills.
13. Flexibility with working hours and ability to accommodate travel.
14. Educated to degree level or equivalent. Alternatively, sufficient experience with relevant professional industry qualifications.
15. Full driving licence required.
