Role: Commercial and Subcontract Senior Analyst -
Location:Hybrid working
Summary of Role:
Working under general direction manages low value routine contracts and subcontracts. Supports Commercial/Subcontract Managers to manage high value/ complex contracts/subcontracts and to respond to requests for proposals.
Main Duties:
1. Support to Subcontract Managers in preparation and assessment of Requests for Proposal and negotiation of agreements and changes
2. Placement and maintenance of low value Purchase Orders
3. Administration of standard due diligence activity
4. Creation and maintenance of compliance matrices
5. Management and measurement of supplier delivery performance
6. Administration of acceptance and receipt of goods and services
7. Maintenance of records
8. Attends customer, supplier and internal reviews in support of Subcontract Manager
9. Support to Commercial Managers in preparation of responses to Requests for Proposal and negotiation of agreements and changes
10. Management of low value Contracts
11. Administration of standard due diligence activity
12. Creation and maintenance of compliance matrices
13. Measurement of Contract performance
14. Administration of delivery, acceptance and invoicing of goods and services
15. Maintenance of records
16. Attendance at customer and internal reviews in support of Contract Manager
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
17. Good general office skills including Microsoft Office proficiency
18. Ability to work in a team
19. Good verbal and written communications
20. Flexible and positive attitude
21. Experience of Contract Management and delivery/ acceptance/ invoicing processes
22. Basic understanding of logistics
23. Basic knowledge of standard agreement types
24. Experience of MRP and purchase order placement/ material receipt processes
Desirable:
25. Basic understanding of supplier evaluation and selection
26. Experience of negotiation
27. Experience of financial management
28. Basic knowledge of programme management skill set to include risk management
29. Awareness of Import/ Export Legislation
